About Us

Covenant Homes was founded in 1996 by Rick & Lisa Johnson of Bryant, Arkansas.    We are a professional residential home builder based upon quality, integrity, honesty and service.

 

Our commitment to homeowners is summed up in our name and slogan -- Covenant Homes, "A Promise of Excellence".  We see our clients as the heart of our business.. a unique philosophy that sets us apart from most builders.  Our clients value having design and building services all from one company.

 

Rick's experience in building began in the early 1980s as he worked on framing crews in order to put himself through college.  Although he enjoyed the challenges associated with building, Rick's career path led him into the stocks and bonds industry as a financial consultant and manager.  With his passion for construction alive and well, remodeling and building became a healthy hobby----and ultimately a new career.

 

Lisa's background is in teaching, She taught kindergarten in the public schools until 1995 when they had their first child.  Although Lisa stayed home to raise their three daughters she still plays a large role in the business.   Lisa does all the interior design work on their spec homes and also works closely with clients helping them with everything from exterior & interior colors to custom designing kitchens and bathrooms.

 

We work closely with the finest subcontractors in the area, unmatched for their quality of craftsmanship and service.  We take building your home personally.  So personally, in fact, that the daily construction of your home is overseen by the owner of the company.
